Scene 1 (1-6)
The Europeans arrive on the coast of Canada, and they come with guns, axes, iron, and more goods.
First, the indigenous peoples (coast salish) were skeptical of the newcomers, watching them settle near their village.

Scene 3 (13-18)
They finally approach, while they struggle to communicate, they understand that the newcomers want to trade with their items. The settler shows them their items, and they leave to gather items to offer items to the settlers.

Scene 5 (25-30)
They grow fond of each other, and the Coast Salish peoples help the Europeans with survival knowledge. Such as how to navigate, where to hunt, where fresh water could be found, and more. Farming, medicinal plants…

Scene 7 (37-42)
The settlers leave after staying at their village, leaving to tell more people about what they had found. The villagers see them off.

Scene 2 (7-12)
They watch their movements and new unfamiliar faces, and items, they try to approach but still stay cautious. The settler sees them and tries to greet them, but they run off.

Scene 4 (19-24)
The Coast Salish peoples gather fish, berries, meat, and animal fur for exchange of new items such as blankets, knives, axes, needles, clothing, etc.

Scene 6 (31-36)
Life becomes more convenient. With the new items, they gather more food and cook meals with the pots. They can also stay warm with the blankets and clothes.

Scene 8 (43-48)
The Indigenous Peoples started becoming sick, they knew it was because of the settlers.
